Title sequences continued...

Our initial ideas in our group for our title sequence and opening is of the genre, Romantic Comedy. The ideas we will express will be of love, relationships and breakups, the usual traits of the genre. We decided on this genre due to our knowledge and interest in Romantic films. I have watched many 'Rom-Coms' to get a feel for the titles sequences and to see what they include.
Usually red text quite subtle whilst the start of the movie plays.
this would be good to use in our title sequence as its sophisticated and reflects the genre of the film.

Although, some romantic comedies start with animated title sequences, like the Back Up Plan...

This sets the scene a little more as it shows she lives in a big city, and as the sequence goes on it shows how the female character is starting to get more and more broody, showing the film will contain a woman who wants a baby. But without giving the whole film away.
