Love Actually Title Sequence

Love actually is a romantic comedy, which generally explores the ups and downs in relationships. It's mainly aimed at women, as it includes attractive men and appeals to women more as Romantic Comedy's are not usually seen as  'Masculine' so attract a wider female audience. The title sequence contains the first scenes of the film and includes all the main actors and actresses. It also sets the scene by showing where they work, what jobs they do and what is currently going on in their love lives. This is just a brief over view so the audience can get an idea of what the rest of the film is like. I like this title sequence as its fast moving, and shows all the different relationships separately, it leaves you wanting to know what happens to them, especially when they aren't already together and you can see that they should be. The title sequence as a whole, shows the film as an obvious Rom-Com, and shows the titles, small, focusing more on whats going on at the beginning of the film. I would like to use this idea in my group title sequence as we have decided on the Romantic Comedy theme, and i like the way it shows the beginning of the story.
